SOLUTIONTECHNICAL OFFICE AND PRODUCTION

Engineering

The real cost shows up when you order the tooling, the applicable directive when you close the design, and the failure mode in the first production run: always late, and always expensive to correct. Engineering puts that work up front —manufacturability, failure modes, costing and conformity— and carries on once series production starts: control plan, reliability, maintenance, root cause and supplier search.

26tools in total: the 17 in Core plus 9 from Engineering, 3 of them shared with Sustainability.

3 POINTS
WHAT IT SOLVESHOW
01 The cost, before the tooling The costing separates material, process, tooling and volume part by part, so the price is discussed with the numbers in front of you and not after committing to a mould.
02 The failure, on the drawing The manufacturability review flags what complicates or inflates production, and the design and process FMEA orders every failure mode with its cause, its control and its criticality.
03 Conformity and series production The regulatory route says which directives the product crosses and which harmonised standards apply, and the control plan sets what is measured on each part once series production is under way.

What it brings

9 TOOLS · 3 SHARED
TOOLWHAT IT DOES
01 BOM and costs The real, hierarchical cost breakdown with live formulas: change a quantity and cost and mass move on their own.
02 FMEA All three variants, with prevention separated from detection and Action Priority computed.
03 MTBF / MTTR Criticality, computed failure rate and an availability target checked against it. Only breakdown stoppages count.
04 Maintenance plan Preventive and predictive per machine, with the frequency derived from reliability and not from a template.
05 Design Review / DFM On your drawing, by discipline, with every finding anchored to the part that causes it.
06 Supplier search By activity code and province, with a company-register lane so you know who is really behind it.
07 8D / root cause With is/is-not analysis, three legs and an escape point. The last discipline updates the project’s FMEA. also in Sustainability
08 Regulatory route A roadmap per market, with the OJEU column that says whether a standard is harmonised. also in Sustainability
09 Control plan At CP-1 level, with the special characteristics inherited from the process FMEA. also in Sustainability
